On the ouskirts of Paris, in Issy-les-Moulineaux, the Issy Seine Ecodistrict rose on a land which had become an industrial wasteland over time. Nonlinear volumes, blending a seaside style in its lower levels and a very jagged skyline, optimize the overall building quality. A green central courtyard leads to the surrounding entry halls.

The density of the Issy Seine project, combining 370 apartments, shops and a day nursery, was a challenge that we met with the ambition of giving each resident the advantages of individual housing with generous outside spaces. Some of these outdoor areas are equipped with glass-clad doors making them seasonal conservatories.
